Project News: International Workshop on ICT in Transport Logistics

We are pleased to invite you to the joint GOOD ROUTE and EURIDICE International workshop, “ICT in Transport Logistics”, organised with the support of SMARTFREIGHT and ROADIDEA European Projects, to be held at Lucerne, Switzerland, 3rd to 5th November 2008.

GOOD ROUTE is an EU co-funded research project which aims to develop a cooperative system for dangerous goods vehicles through route monitoring, re-routing (in case of need) enforcement and driver support, based upon dynamic, real time data, in order to minimise the societal risks related to their movements, whilst still generating the most cost efficient solution for all actors involved in the logistic chain.

Accompanying events include an exhibition of the GOOD ROUTE system on November 3rd, where the GOOD ROUTE prototype vehicle will be demonstrated en route at the Gotthard tunnel. The EURIDICE business forum is another side event and will take place on November 5th.
