Date: 08 August 2008
On June 27, the Minister of ERTICO Partner Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management sent his Partial Execution Decision and underlying Implementation Plan to the Dutch House of Representatives. These documents were discussed on July 3 and 4. The Dutch House of Representatives has agreed on the start of the certification process and the procurement for execution of technical tests.
On August 14 a further meeting will be held with the following topics on the agenda.
- The planned process together with industrial partners for certification of private service providers of the Kilometre Price;
- The planned procurement for the ‘back-up track’;
- State of affairs of the additional research on the organisational models (the Public Private Comparator).
The Ministry has asked Connekt / ITS Netherlands, member of the ERTICO hosted Network of National ITS Associations, to make an inventory, prior to the meeting, of the questions from industrial partners concerning the topics mentioned above and the Partial Execution Decision. If possible these questions will be answered in the presentations during the meeting.
This meeting will start at 14:00 hours and will take place at Connekt, Kluyverweg 6 in Delft, The Netherlands.
