Benefits & Responsibilities

Since ERTICO operates as a Belgian Société Cooperative, the ERTICO Partners are responsible for running the company and contribute a capital share. As legal shareholders, all the Partners have equal rights and obligations, which are stipulated in the ERTICO Statutes. ERTICO Partners may participate in all of our project activities, working groups, task forces and other initiatives.

Each shareholder Partner can vote at the General Assembly provided the annual Membership fees have been paid. Partners can also nominate a sector representative for election to the Supervisory Board.

The benefits of becoming an ERTICO Partner include opportunities to:

• initiate development and implementation projects as well as join consortia of leading multi-sector players — with the necessary support and coordination of ERTICO in-house expertise
• participate in deployment initiatives
• network with other key ITS players and win over new clients and business partners
• maintain direct links with European institutions and ITS programmes
• establish contacts with technical specialists, business executives and decision-makers
  — at the same time
• stay ahead of new developments and anticipate key market trends
• develop an ITS strategy that takes into account the overall European strategy and thus reduces risk
• leverage the strength of other Partners to support one's own strategy implementation
• actively participate in ERTICO-organised European and worldwide events to promote one's own business interests
• second staff to our office in Brussels, providing an even stronger link to our hub of ITS activity
